About Legacy Youth
The next generation has the power to change the world, and at Legacy Youth, we’re just honored to be part of that journey. Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, our 6th–12th graders gather to build a community of disciples who are growing a hunger for nothing else but the presence of God. We believe that when students encounter Him in a real way rooted in Scripture, led by Love, and fueled by a Passion for fellowship the things of this world simply lose their shine. It’s a space where you can be yourself, make lasting friendships, and have a lot of fun while being part of something much bigger than yourself. Whether we’re worshiping together or just hanging out, our heart is to create an environment where finding God is the mission and everyone is welcome to come as they are.
Meet the Heart Behind Legacy Youth!
At the heart of Legacy Students is Pastor Mark, a leader with a genuine passion for seeing the next generation flourish. Mark’s journey in leadership is rooted in his love for both ministry and education; while he began his studies at the University of Central Oklahoma to become a Music Educator, he felt a clear calling to bring those skills into the church. He is currently continuing his education and getting credentialed through the Oklahoma Assemblies of God School of Ministry to better serve our families and students.
Mark is a gifted multi-instrumentalist whether he’s playing the saxophone, piano, or guitar, his goal is always to lead others into a real encounter with God. He and his wife, Grace, both serve on our staff here at Christ’s Legacy, sharing a humble commitment to building a community where every student feels at home.
When he isn’t studying or planning for Wednesday nights, you’ll likely find Mark listening to “Center” by SEU Worship or sharing a bag of Nerd Gummy Clusters with the students. He truly loves our youth and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them as they grow in their faith.
